RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6695-92 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to advertise for bids and enter into a <br />contract with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement <br />according to law for the demolition and clearance of the <br />following properties located in the City of Lakewood at: 14589-91 <br />Madison Avenue (Permanent Parcel No. 314-18-005), 14593 Madison <br />Avenue (Permanent Parcel No. 314-18-118), 14595 Madison Avenue <br />(Permanent Parcel No. 314-18-117), 14597 Madison Avenue (Per~anent <br />Parcel No. 314-18-119), 14609 Madison Avenue (Permanent Parcel No. <br />314-18-04), 2013 Warren Road (Permanent Parcel No. 314-18-061), <br />2019 Warren Road (Permanent Parcel No. 314-18-116) and 2021 Warren <br />Road (Permanent Parcel No. 314-18-060). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Lakewood has <br />determined by ordinances 61-91, 67-91, 68-91, 69-91, 70-91, 71-91 <br />that it is in the best interest of the City of Lakewood to <br />purchase the above referenced properties for the relocation of the <br />Warren Road Fire Station and the initial step in the relocation is <br />to raze and clear said properties; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health, safety and welfare, and for the usual daily operation of a <br />municipal department in that it is necessary to complete the <br />demolition in order to proceed with the Lakewood City Center <br />Project and the relocation of the Warren Road Fire Station in a <br />timely manner, now therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids and to enter <br />into a contract with the lowest and best bidder after <br />advertisement according to law for the demolition and clearance of <br />properties located at 14589-91 Madison Avenue (PermanentParcel <br />No. 314-18-005), 14593 Madison Avenue (Permanent Parcel No. <br />314-18-1i8), 14595' Madison Avenue (Permanent Parcel No. <br />314-18-117), 14597 Madison Avenue (Permanent Parcel No. <br />314-18-119), 14609 Madison Avenue (Permanent Parcel No. <br />314-18-04), 2013 Warren Road (Permanent Parcel No. 314-18-061), <br />2019 Warren Road (Permanent Parcel No. 314-18-116) and 2021 Warren <br />Road (Permanent Parcel NO. 314-18-060). <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of <br />this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, <br />and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action, were in <br />meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal <br />requirement. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
