RESOLUTION NO. 6708-A;92 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smi. tt A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of Public Safety, for an on behalf of the City of Lakewood, to enter into a one year contract with Brennan's Market for the purchase'and delivery of food for jail inmates, and to purchase non-perishable items on the spot market. WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the city that the food provided for jail inmates be purchased by an annual supply contract, and WHEREAS, sealed bids were advertised for, received and opened on March 20, 1992, for the purchase and delivery of food for jail inmates, and WHEREAS, Brennan's Market was the only vendor who submitted a bid, and WHEREAS, the bid was divided in to three separate compo- nentS: frozen meals; Perishables; and non-perishables, and each component could be bid separately, and WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Chief of Police that two components, frozen meals and perishable items, be awarded to Brennan's Market and that non-perishable items be purchased on the spot market; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Public Safety be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a one year supply con- tract with Brennan's Market for the purchase and delivery of food to feed jail inmates and to purchase non-perishable items on the spot market. Section 2.
