RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia% Gallagher, <br />George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, <br />smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Lakewood Lutheran School's <br />seventh and eighth grade basketball team for their outstanding <br />athletic achievement during the 1991-92 grade school basketball <br />season; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, La~ewoOd L~theran's Basketball team, more <br />popularly known as the "Warriors" recently completed an extra- <br />ordinary season compiling an 11-1 won/lose league record and <br />o~erall record of 14-2; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the "Warriors" fine performance allowed for <br />their selection as only one Of four Lutheran grade schools in the <br />state for participation in the All-Ohio Lutheran Tournament, A <br />tournament that would see the "Warriors" become State of Ohio <br />Consolation Champions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, eighth grade players: Renee Magley, Carrie <br />Miller, Mag E. Pohlod, Heather Riedy, Sarah Stockhausen, Kathy <br />West; and, seventh grade players: Mary Clarke, Alissa Gray, <br />Jessica Risner, Rachel Sandman and Amande Seagro, should be <br />recognized for'their individual effort's and good sportsmanship; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Coach Tom O'Hara, Athletic Direcnoz Dale <br />Lehrke and Principal Larry Hoffschneider should be recognized for <br />their leadership and individual contributions helping to insure <br />success, not only to Lakewood Lutheran, but to the Lakewood <br />Communzuy as well, and these accomplishments should be recognized <br />in a proper and fitting manner; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor, hereby <br />extend to Lakewood Lutheran School's seventh and eighth grade <br />basketball team its congratulation and that of all the citizens <br />of the Lakewood Community for their ours~anding athletic <br />achievemenu during the 1991-92 grade school basketball season. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she ms <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Resolution to Lakewood Lutheran School, 1419 Lakeland <br /> <br /> CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
