RESOLUTION NO: 6710-92 BY: <br /> <br />Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smit] <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION declaring it necessary to improve certain streets <br />in the City of Lakewood by removal, where necessary of the existing surface <br />course, by grading and replacement where necessary, of the base and by <br />resurfacing with asphaltic concrete together with necessary appurtenances <br />hereto. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolution is an emergency measure which is necessary <br />for the immediate preservation of the public peace,.property, health and <br />safety and for the further reason that the improvements herein provided are <br />immediately necessary to eliminate existing hazards to vehicular traffic <br />using the streets of this City; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1 That it is necessary to improve the following streets in <br />the City of Lakewood: <br /> <br />° Beach Avenue (Detroit to Clifton) <br />o Beach Road <br />° Cliffdale <br />° Erie Cliff <br />° Hall Avenue (Lake to Clifton) <br />° Halsted Avenue <br />o Idlewood Avenue <br />° Leonard Avenue <br />° Lewis Avenue <br />° Maile Avenue <br />o McKinley Avenue (Hilliard to Madison) <br />o Northland Avenue (S. Marginal to Fisher) <br />o Ogontz Avenue <br />° Owego Avenue <br />o Quail Avenue <br />° Shaw Alley <br />° Shaw Avenue <br />o St. Charles (Detroit to Madison) <br />° Sylvan <br />o Waterbury Avenue (South of Madison) <br /> <br /> Section 2. That said streets shall be improved in accordance with <br />specifications hereinafter referred to and now on file in the, office of the <br />City Engineer by removal, where necessary, of the existing surface course, <br />by grading and replacement where necessary, of the base, and by resurfacing <br />with asphaltic concrete including the necessary replacement and resetting <br />of castings together with necessary appurtenances thereto. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is hereby determined and declared that said improvement <br />is conducive to the public health, convenience and welfare of said City and <br />the inhabitants thereof. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That the plans, specifications and estimates of the proposed <br />improvements, heretofore prepared and now on file in the office of the City <br />Engineer, are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> <br />
