RESOLUTION NO. 6711-A~92 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith A RESOLUTION to honor the St. Edward Eagles Wrestling Team, winning its twelfth Class AAA State Championship; and WHEREAS, special commendation and recognition is due to all .members of the St. Edward Wrestling Team and Coach Greg Urbas and his staff for their outstanding performance at this year's 55th Annual State Wrestling Tournament; and WHEREAS, to excel in the game of wrestling, a young person must demonstrate, in addition to a great deal of natural ability, an outstanding spirit of dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work; and WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood wishes to. extend its expression of pride in the accomplishments of this wrestling team, as well as our appreciation for the recognition they have brought to Northern Ohio by their playing in the State Tournament; and WHEREAS, by their outstanding accomplishments, the St. Edward High School Eagles Wrestling Team has brought due recog- nition and honor, not only to themselves, but to the entire Lakewood Community - which accomplishments should be recognized in a proper and fitting manner; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor, hereby extend to St. Edward High School Eagles Wrestling Team, its congradulations and that of all the citizens of the Lakewood Community for their outstanding athletic achieVements. Section 2.
