RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6714-92 BY: <br /> <br />Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION'designating the month of May, 1992 as <br />Lakewood Environmental Month in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of LakewouU is celebrating the tenth <br />anniversary of its certification in the Keep America Beautiful <br />program, an~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood is recognized for being a <br />model environmental community for its efforts in litter <br />prevention, recycling, and beautification, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the pro-active environmental programs have <br />been successful because of community support and effort, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the tenth anniversary of Lakewood's Keep <br />America Beautiful program provides this community with the <br />opportunity to recognize all who have served on the Litter Less <br />Lakewood/Keep America Beautiful Environmental Board, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, their efforts have improved and protected the <br />environment of Lakewood; now, therefore <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C'OUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. <br />behalf of the citizens of the City of Lakewood, hereby d~nate <br />the month of May, 1992, as Lakewood Envir°nmental_~~_ ~ <br /> <br /> CLERk OF COUNCIL <br /> <br />That this Mayor and Council, for and on <br /> <br /> <br />
