RESOLUTION NO. 6719-92 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor for and <br />on behalf of the City of Lakewood to enter into a contract with the <br />Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging to accept funds for the City's <br />programs covering Social Services and Nutrition, such contract <br />providing partial funding for supplemental programs under Title III <br />of the 1965 Older Americans Act. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging is <br />administering a program of grants from the Federal Government under <br />Title III of the 1965 Older Americans Act whereby this City may <br />obtain monies to provide Programs for persons 60 years of age or <br />older; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.' That the Mayor, for and on behalf of the City <br />of Lakewood, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract with the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging, <br />providing partial funding of the City's Program under Title III of <br />the 1965 Older Americans Act. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
