RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6720-92 <br /> <br />BY: Gallagher, George, Gibbons, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to honor and recognize Sophie T. Roch on <br />the occasion of her 80th birthday on Sunday, June 7, 1992. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sophie Roch has been <br />community for over 40 years, and <br /> <br />a resident of our <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mrs. Roch has been active in St. James <br />Parish and numerous civic activities inclUding many years of <br />service as a Board of Elections booth worker, many of those years <br />as Presiding Judge, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during her productive lifetime, Sophie Roch <br />has demonstrated in countless ways her dedication to ~the welfare <br />of others and has earned the respect and affection-of family and <br />friends alike, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, she has served as a superb role model to her <br />daughters, Bernice and Elaine, her 8 grandchildren and her 9 great <br />grandchildren, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is only fitting and proper that on the <br />occasion of her 80th birthday, Sophie T. Roch be given public <br />cognizance~and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD,- STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council of the City of Lakewood <br />extends to Sophie T. RoCh its recognition and congratulations and <br />~bat of all of the citizens of this community on the celebration <br /> Q0th birthday and further that this Council wishes her <br />con~ ......
