RESOLUTION NO. 6724-92 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Jason Davis for his years' of <br />dedicated service to the Lakewood community. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jason Davis has enthusiastically volunteered <br />his time and energies to the T.E.E.N. Institute, (T.I.), Drug <br />Abuse Resistance Education program (D.A.R.E.) and various <br />functions for the Lakewood Youth Services, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Davis has participated in many of these <br />programs while a student of Lakewood High School, a part-time <br />employee for the City of Lakewood as well as a part-time employee <br />of AmeriTrust/Society Bank, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the hard work attributed to Mr. Davis has not <br />subverted his kind and gentle nature when speaking to Lakewood <br />School students of the dangers of drugs and alcohol, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jason's persistence will be <br />him to attend Cleveland State University this Fall, and <br /> <br />leading <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jason Davis will be greatly missed by the <br />Lakewood Youth Services, the D.A.R.E. officers and others whom he <br />has served in distinguished capacities, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is only fitting and proper that this Council <br />join with the friends and co-workers of Jason Davis in commending <br />him on his years of ~valued and committed service to the youth of <br />this city; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council of the City of Lakewood <br />extends to Jason Davis its commendation and that of all of the <br />citizens of this community on his abundant efforts in serving his <br />community and further wishes him continued years of health, <br />happiness and prosperity. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
