RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6729-92 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION recognizing the 75th anniversary of <br />Lakewood Garden Club in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, 1992 marks the 75th anniversary of Lakewood <br />Garden Club; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lakewood Garden Club members have contributed <br />to the beauty of the City of Lakewood by continuously accepting <br />the challenge to beautify areas; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lakewood Garden Club members have served on <br />the City's environmental board to ensure our city remains one of <br />the most desirable communities on the North Shore; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lakewood Garden Club supports beautification <br />in public and private areas through their cooperation in the <br />selection of Keep America Beautiful properties; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, over the last seventy-five years hundreds of <br />Lakewood Garden Club members have donated their time, energy, and <br />enthusiasm to one goal. .a better community; and <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor, hereby <br />support the goals of the Lakewood Garden Club. <br /> <br />Secnion 2.
