RESOLUTION: No. <br /> <br />6747-92 By: <br /> <br />Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION commending the members of the Lakewood <br />Rescue Squad for their efforts in treating victims of the <br />Ridgewood Avenue,. Woodward Avenue and Madison Avenue fires <br />during the months of July and August, 1992. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is increasingly evident that the residents <br />of Lakewood rely heavily upon the skill, dedication and bravery <br />of the Lakewood Rescue Squad, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the people who undertake the task of <br />responding to tragedy and trauma in the course of their work are <br />deserving not only of our commendation but our admiration and <br />awe, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, those who have chosen to bare the burden of <br />routinely performing life saving procedures under mental and <br />physical stress as paramedics should be given public cognizance <br />and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY ~THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the following individuals who <br />performed emergency medical care under extreme conditions to the <br />victims of three recent fires be commended: <br /> <br />Mike Monahan <br />Tom Mackin <br />Mark Dailey <br />Kevin Kennedy <br />Mary Boston <br />Herb Tippie <br /> <br />Scott Russell <br />Art Rufo <br />Gayle Zavatchan <br />Denis Paus <br /> <br /> Section 2. Be it further resolved that we express our <br />sincere gratitude to the members of the Lakewood Rescue Squad <br />for contributing to the health/ safety and welfare of all <br />Lakewood residents. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
