RESOLUTION NO. 6748-92 ~Y: <br /> <br />Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION commending the members of the Lakewood <br />Police Department working at the scene of the fires on <br />Ridgewood, Woodward and Madison Avenues during the months of <br />July and August, 1992. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Lakewood Police Department is often the <br />very first and the very last on the scene of a fire, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, whether it be securing order in the <br />the surrounding area of a burning building, aiding in <br />evacuation, or laboring in clean up efforts it is imperative <br />that their committed efforts be recognized and commended, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is important for these men and women <br />to know we, who rely so heavily on them for our safety, do not <br />take their courage, their skill or their profession for granted, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, for Matthew Biscotti as Chief of Police, <br />Captain Alan Clark in charge of the Investigative Division, <br />and Captain Dan Clark heading the Patrol Division, our heartfelt <br />thanks and commendation is hereby afforded them, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, for Lieutenants Bronish, Hartsel, and Hoyt, <br />to the officers in their employ who served them and this <br />community during three devastating fires we extend our <br />commendation and appreciation; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood <br />on behalf of the residents extends to the above named <br />individuals its commendation and'appreciation for their <br />professionalism and dedication .exhibited during three <br />recent Lakewood fires. <br /> <br />Section 2.
