RESOLUTION NO. 6748-92 ~Y: Boscia, Gallagher, George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith A RESOLUTION commending the members of the Lakewood Police Department working at the scene of the fires on Ridgewood, Woodward and Madison Avenues during the months of July and August, 1992. WHEREAS, the Lakewood Police Department is often the very first and the very last on the scene of a fire, and WHEREAS, whether it be securing order in the the surrounding area of a burning building, aiding in evacuation, or laboring in clean up efforts it is imperative that their committed efforts be recognized and commended, and WHEREAS, it is important for these men and women to know we, who rely so heavily on them for our safety, do not take their courage, their skill or their profession for granted, and WHEREAS, for Matthew Biscotti as Chief of Police, Captain Alan Clark in charge of the Investigative Division, and Captain Dan Clark heading the Patrol Division, our heartfelt thanks and commendation is hereby afforded them, and WHEREAS, for Lieutenants Bronish, Hartsel, and Hoyt, to the officers in their employ who served them and this community during three devastating fires we extend our commendation and appreciation; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood on behalf of the residents extends to the above named individuals its commendation and'appreciation for their professionalism and dedication .exhibited during three recent Lakewood fires. Section 2.
