RESOLUTION: <br /> <br />6774-92 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION designating and proclaiming November 1 lth as a special day <br />in the United States of America to recognize and honor our veterans; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city of Lakewood is proud of our veterans that served in the <br />armed forces for they have provided our citizens with the opportunity to enjoy freedoms; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November l lth at 11:00 a.m., the city of Lakewood will honor <br />and remember all those who lost their lives while pursuing our peace; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the veterans have and continue to play a significant role in the <br />community in which they reside, their patriotism and love of country is constantly demon- <br />strated; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, we the citizens of these United States have watched history take <br />shape and grow while living in a world where peace is a direct result of our veterans' <br />actions. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STA~O: <br /> Section 1.
