RESOLUTION NO. 6780-92 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Gallagher, <br />George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION extending congratulations to the Lakewood <br />Rangers Football Team for its outstanding athletic achievement <br />during the 1992 football season. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Rangers exhibited great skill and <br />sportsmanship during their 8 and 2 regular season in the Lake <br />Erie League, culminating in a 22-0 defeat of Shaw; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Rangers ended their season undefeated <br />in the Lake Erie League, and have done so for only the 3rd time <br />in 30 years, becoming the champions of the League; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by their outstanding athletic accomplishments <br />and good sportsmanship, together with the expert guidance of <br />their dedicated coaches, the Lakewood Rangers Football Team has <br />brought position, recognition and honor not only to themselves, <br />but to our entire communitY; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That we honor the Lakewood <br />Football Team for their outstanding athletic <br />during the 1992 football season. <br /> <br /> Rangers <br />achievement <br /> <br /> Section 2.
