RESOLUTION NO. 6790-92 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith A RESOLUTION to commend Finance Director Gale W. Fisk, as Head Coach of the Bay Village varsity girls soccer team on his team's success in 1992. WHEREAS recognition is due to Gale W. Fisk as well as the Bay Village varsity girls soccer team for winning the Southwestern Conference, being District Champions and the Regional Runner-up team through their good sportsmanship and outstanding performance under the guidance of Coach Fisk. WHEREAS, Gale W. Fisk was named Southwestern Conference Coach of the Year, as well Coach of the Year by the Cleveland Scho- lastic Soccer Association and the State of Ohio Scholastic Soccer Association, and WHEREAS, Gale W. Fisk has served as Head Coach of the Bay Village varsity girls soccer team for six years, and WHEREAS, this Council realizes and appreciates the dedica- tion and commitment which Coach Fisk and his team have demonstrated in order to accomplish these enviable feats, and WHEREAS, by their outstanding accomplishments, Finance Director Fisk together with the Bay Village varsity.girls soccer team have brought due recognition and honor, not only to themselves, but Coach Fisk's employer, the City of Lakewood, which accomplishments should be recognized in a proper and fitting manner; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Council of the City of LakeWood for and on behalf of its citizens extends to Coach Gale W. Fisk and the Bay Village varsity girls soccer team, congratulations for their outstanding athletic achievement during the 1992 soccer season. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is here by authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of' this Resolu- tion to'Head Coach Gale W. Fisk, 31375 Roberta Drive~ Bay Village, Ohio 44140, and that a copy of this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. Adopted: CLERK MAYOR
