RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6794-92 <br /> <br /> BY:Boscia, Gallagher, <br />George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, <br /> Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION extending congratulations to Lizzy Roche <br />of Lakewood High School for her outstanding athletic achievement. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lizzy, a member of the Ranger girls cross <br />country team, placed 14th overall at the All-Ohio meet; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lizzy has won many individual honors <br />which include 3rd place on the All-Regional Team, 2nd place on <br />the All-District Team, Cleveland Plain Dealer Player of the Week, <br />All-Sun Newspaper Most Valuable Runner, All-Lake Erie League <br />Team, LHS 5K record holder (18:53) and MVP in the Lake Erie <br />League; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by her outstanding athletic accomplishments <br />and good sportsmanship, Lizzy Roche has brought position, <br />recognition and honor not only to herself, but to our entire <br />community; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That we honor Lizzy Roche for her outstand- <br />ing athletic achievement in cross country. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Resolution to Lizzy Roche, Lakewood High School, 14100 <br />Franklin Boulevard, Lakewood, Ohio 44107, and that a copy of this <br /> <br /> CLER~ <br /> <br /> <br />
