RESOLUTION NO. 6 Y 97 - 92 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Gallagher, <br />George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, <br /> Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend William J. Burke for his public <br />service as a member of the Department of Public Safety, Division <br />of Fire, in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement, effective November 29, <br />1992, he completed over 27 years of public service with the <br />Division of Fire, City of Lakewood; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Division of <br />Fire, William Burke has been recognized as a loyal and dedicated <br />employee who rendered outstanding service, not only to the <br />Department of Public Safety, Division of Fire, but to the entire <br />community as well; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public <br />service rendered by William J. Burke be given public cognizance <br />and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereby <br />extend to William J. Burke its commendation and that of all the <br />citizens of the Lakewood community for his 27 years of public <br />service as an employee in the Department of Public Safety, <br />Division of Fire, of the City of Lakewood, and further that this <br />Council and Mayor wish him continued years of health, happiness <br />and prosperity in his retirement. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Resolution to William J. Burke, 25664 W.
