RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6799-93 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Carol DiMario for her public <br />service in the Public Information Office in the City of Lakewood; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon her resignation, effective March 1, <br />1993, she will have completed~over 11 years of public service <br />with the Public Information Office, City of Lakewood; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Carol has been instrumental in coordinating <br />and facilitating the success of numerous City events, such as <br />Friday Night Flicks, Band Concerts in the Park, construction of <br />the Bandshell and Promenade Brick Walkway; festivals such as <br />Lakewood Hometown Pride Days, Lakewood Arts Festival, Lakewood <br />Community Festival, Antique Show, Bicycle Saturday and Holiday <br />Lights for Lakewood; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, she possesses a unique ability to bring <br />together community groups ~and blend their talents for positive <br />programming that enhances the lives of residents of Lakewood; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Carol's loyalty and fondness for the City of <br />Lakewood has been reflected in all of her projects; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, her quick wit and friendship will be sorely <br />missed by all; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. "That this Council and the Mayor hereby <br />extend to Carol DiMario its commendation, and that of all the <br />citizens of the Lakewood Community for her more than 11 years of <br />public service as a member of the Public Information Office of <br />the City of Lakewood, and further that this Council and Mayor <br />wish her continued years of health, happiness and prosperity. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
