RESOLUTION NO. 6800-93 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Gallagher, <br />George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to con,mend Robert Boey for his public <br />service as a member of the Department of Public Safety, Division <br />of Fire, in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement, effective December 31, <br />1992, he completed 27 years of public service with the Division <br />of Fire, City of Lakewoed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bob, a bagpiper for the Greater Cleveland <br />Peace Officers Memorial Society Pipe Band, will be travelling <br />with them to Washington, D.C. to perform at the Presidential <br />inaugural festivities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during h~s tenure with the Division of <br />Fire, Bob Boey has been recognized as a loyal and dedicated <br />employee who rendered outstanding service, not only to the <br />Department of Public Safety, Division of Fire, but to the entire <br />cormmunity as well; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public <br /> service rendered by Bob Boey be given public cognizance and <br /> recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Seetion 1. That this Council and the Mayer hereby <br /> extend to Robert Boey its commendation and that of all the <br /> citizens of the Lakewood community for his 27 years of public <br /> service as an employee in the Department of Public Safety, <br /> Division of Fire, of the City of Lakewood, and further that this <br /> Council and Mayor wish him continued years of health, happiness <br /> and prosperity in his retirement. <br /> <br /> Section 2~ That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certifie~ copy of <br />this Resolution to Robert Boey, 24340 Redgewood Avenue, ~estlake, <br />OH 44145, and that a copy of this Resolution bedspread upon the <br />minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br />Adopted: ~/~./~ /~, /~3 ~\~<~<~ <br /> <br /> CLERK <br /> <br />Approved: C~1~ ~,, /~f3 <br /> MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br />
