RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6807-93 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Gallagher, <br />George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Gary G. Haas for his public <br />service as a member of the Department of Public Safety, Division <br />of Fire, in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement, effective January 24, <br />1993, he completed 25 years of public service with the Division <br />of Fire, City of Lakewood; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Gary has served for ten years as President <br />of Local #382 of the International Association of Firefighters, <br />AFL-CIO; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the D~vision of <br />Fire, Gary Haas has been recognized as a loyal and dedicated <br />employee who rendered outstanding service, not only to the <br />Department of Public Safety, Division of Fire, but to the entire <br />community as well; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public <br />service rendered by Gary Haas be given public cognizance and <br />recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereby <br />extend Gary Haas to ~its commendation and that of all the <br />citizens of the Lakewood community for his 25 years of public <br />service as an employee in the Department of Public Safety, <br />Division of Fire, of the~City of Lakewood, and further that this <br />Council and Mayor wish him continued years of health, happiness <br />and prosperity in his retirement. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Resolution to Gary G.
