RESOLUTION NO. 6809-93 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, Gibbons, Roth, .Seelie, Smith A RESOLUTION extending congratulations to Tonia Kwiatkowski for her outstanding athletic and personal achievement. WHEREAS, Tonia Kwiatkowski, a member of the Winterhurst Figure Skating Club captured third place at the 1993 U .S. Figure Skating Association's National Championships, and; WHEREAS, Tonia has achieved this recognition through her dedication and hard work with her coach Carol Heiss-Jenkins at Winterhurst Ice Skating rink, and; WHEREAS, through her exceptional talent and determination, longs hours and hard work she has been placed on the world team of senior ladies' figure skaters, bringing honor and recognition not only to herself and Winterhurst Figure Skating Club's coach Carol Heiss-Jenkins but to our entire community; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereby extend to Tonia Kwiatkowski its congratulations, and that of all the citizens of the Lakewood community for her third place finish at the 1993 U.S. Figure Skating National Championship. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Tonia Kwiatkowski, c/o Winterhurst Figure Skating Club, 14740 Lakewood Heights Blvd., Lakewood, Ohio 44107 and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and any of its c~ ~thaj~~te.d in sUch formal action, were in meeti.~ ~~t~ , in compliance wi th all legal requ~~~ Mayor --
