RESOLUTION NO. 6818 - 93 BY~ Boscia, Gallagher, George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith Rangers season. A RESOLUTION to commend the Lakewood High School Lady Varsity Basketball Team for their exceptional 1992-1993 WHEREAS, the Lady Rangers have recently completed an outstanding season in which they claimed first place in the Lake Erie League Section, second place in the Division I District and ninth place in the State of Ohio; and WHEREAS, the 1993 Lady Rangers put together an overall record of 19 wins and 3 losses and the best season in half a decade, offering to their fans a stream of constant thrills and to their opponents a flow of constant misery; and WHEREAS, the team, consisting of Leslie Favre, Stephany Favre, Diane Cerrito, Carrie Pulling, Sue Falcone, Deana Bahhur, Jamie Carpenter, Vanessa Tuttle, Niki Candow, Sarah Conn, Katie Olson, Stephanie Dumbrys, Summer Erb, and Holly Mastrodonato, achieved their successes under the leadership of head coach Marc Lewis; and WHEREAS, the Lady Rangers through untiring hard work, perseverance, determination, talent, and teamwork, have brought to life the spirit of the purple and gold at its finest, and have brought distinction and honor not only to themselves, but to the entire community; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereby extend to the Lady Rangers and their coach, Marc Lewis its commendation, and that of all the citizens of the Lakewood Community for their outstanding athletic achievement during the 1992-1993 basketball season. Section 2.
