RESOLUTION NO. 6826-93 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION commending and congratulating Judy Church <br />for her long-term commitment and dedicated service to children in <br />the Lakewood community. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Judy Church will be recognized Wednesday, <br />April 21, 1993 by the Cleveland Association for the Education of <br />Young Children, (CAEYC), by receiving the Early Childhood Award <br />of the Year· and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after teaching Kindergarten Judy Church began <br />a Directorship at St. Peter's Nursery School in 1968 during which <br />time she attended Cleveland State University completing her <br />Masters in Early Childhood Education, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, being a woman committed to the needs of her <br />community, Judy began St. Peter's Infant and Toddler Day Care <br />Center, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Church played instrumental roles in <br />creating Lakewood's Community Care Center as well as 'Lakewood <br />Child Care Services· and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is not only Judy's commitment and <br />dedication to her work but also her innate ability to inspire <br />others that deserves public cognizance and recognition in a <br />formal resolution; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereby <br />extend to Judy church their highest commendation and <br />congratulations together with that of all the citizens of <br />Lakewood. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Resolution to Ms. Judy Church 1450 Belle Lakewood <br /> · · <br />Ohio 44107, and that a copy of this~on the <br /> <br />minutes of this..meeting. <br /> <br />Adopted: ~5, /~ <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
