RESOLUTION NO. 6849-93 <br /> <br />BY: Gallagher, George, Gibbons, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION recommending that the City enter into a <br />contract with Terrace Construction Company in the amount of $60,195.00 <br />for the Fire Communications Cable System Extension. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 93-92, sealed bids were <br />received by the City of Lakewood for the Fire Communications Cable <br />System Extension, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, two bids were submitted ranging from $60,195.00 to <br />$71,750.00, and the low bid is less than the engineer's estimate of <br />$67,500,000, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Procurement Officer recommended and the Board <br />of Control approved the bid of Terrace Construction Company in the <br />amount of $60,195.00 as the lowest and best bid; now therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Council approves the actions of the Board of <br />Control and recommends that the Director of Public Works enter 'into a <br />contract with Terrace Construction Company in the amount of $60,195.00 <br />for the Fire Communications Cable System Extension. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
