RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6852-93 <br /> <br />By~B~scia, Gallagher, George,. <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor and the Director <br />of Human Services to file a grant application with the <br />Ohio Department of Education seeking $15,000 to hire an <br />additional part-time staff person for the H20, Help to <br />Others, Program sponsored by the Lakewood Division of <br />Youth. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ohio Department of Education in <br />conjunction with the Governor's Community Service Advisory <br />Committee is accepting grant applications, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood H20, Help to Others, <br />Program sponsored by the Lakewood Division of Youth may be <br />eligible for funding, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Human Services has <br />recommended and requested that Council authorize the grant <br />application seeking $15,000 to fund an additional <br />part-time staff person to serve as coordinator for the <br />City's program; now therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Council authorizes the Mayor and <br />Director of Human Services to file a grant application on <br />behalf of the City with the Ohio Department of Education <br />in conjunction with the Governor's Community Services <br />Advisory Committee, the application to be for a grant <br />request of $15,000 for the H20, Help to Others, Program <br />sponsored by the Lakewood Division of Youth. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all <br />formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to <br />the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this COuncil, and that all such deliJ~x~Ct~ <br />of this Council and any of its commit_J~9~-th~resu~ted) in <br />such formal action, were in meeti~~~e pu~li~, <br />in compliance with all legal requ~~~/ ~. <br /> <br /> <br />
