RESOLUTION NO. 6853-93 BY: Bos cia, Gallag her, Georg e, Gibbons, Roth, Se~fie, Smith A RESOLUTION to commend Katinka I. Domotorffy on being named Valedictorian of the 1993 Lakewood High School graduating class. WHEREAS the One Hundred Forty-fifth Annual Commencement exercises of Lakewood High School held on June 6, 1993 saw Katinka I. Domotorffy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zsolt Domotorffy, as Class Valedictorian, and WHEREAS Valedictorian is one nomination she received as well as that of Phi Beta Kappa, National Merit Commended and Principal Char Bowden's Girl Scholar/Athlete Award, and WHEREAS Katinka received the highest grade point average over four years while she serVed on Student Council, ran track, played soccer and was president of the High School's Spanish Club, and WHEREAS the list of honors presented to Katinka during the Commencement demonstrates the wholeness with which this graduate achieved her secondary education, and WHEREAS Katinka has earned for herself an academic base from which to carry forward in all of her life's endeavors beginning with a plan to double major in math and science, and WHEREAS this Council wishes her no less than the best of everything for many, many years as she heads to the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia to pursue her undergraduate education; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereby extend to Katinka I. Domotorffy their commendation and heartfelt congratulations on being named Lakewood High School Class of 1993 Valedictorian. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to Katinka I. Domotorffy, 13509 Clifton Boulevard, Lakewood, Ohio 44107, and that a copy of this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting Adopted: Approved: ~LERK
