REFERRED TO THE UTILITIES COMMITTEE <br />ON 7/19/93 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6860-93 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION recommending that the City enter into a contract with <br />Michael Benza & Associates in the amount of $18,849.00 for Consulting Services <br />on the Construction of Ultraviolet Disinfection Improvements at the Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant and additional information and reports needed to meet Ohio <br />Environmental Protection Agency Loan requirements. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 6-93, a professional services <br />proposal was received by the City of Lakewood for additional consulting for <br />construction administration, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Michael Benza & Associates is uniquely qualified having <br />provided the study and specifications for submission and approval of this <br />project, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommended and the Professional Services <br />Committee approved the bid of Michael Benza & Associates in the amount of <br />$18,849.00 as a responsive and reasonable bid; now therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO, <br /> <br /> Section 1. Council approves the actions of the Professional Services <br />Committee and recommends that the Director of Public Works enter into a <br />contract with Michael Benza & Associates in the amount of $18,849.00 for <br />additional consulting services for construction administration and submission <br />of reports required by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. <br /> <br />Section 2.
