RESOLUTION NO. 6866-93 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Gallagher, <br />George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Eugenia Gorski, R.N., on being <br />recognized by the Ohio State Department of Health for her efforts <br />in childhood lead poisoning prevention. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Eugenia has <br />LakeWood, Division of Health, <br />fourteen-and-one-half years; and <br /> <br />been employed by the City of <br />as a Nurse Practitioner for <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Eugenia was responsible for conceiving and <br />developing a program to prevent and detect lead poisoning in <br />young children; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />Out"; and <br /> <br />this program became "Lakewood Gets the Lead <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Eugenia has provided lead testing and lead <br />poisoning prevention education to over 150 Lakewood children and <br />families; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />testing in homes <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> the program has developed to include lead <br />by the Division of Health Sanitarians; now, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereby <br />extend to Eugenia Gorski, R.N., its commendation, and that of all <br />the citizens of the Lakewood Community for her exemplary <br />professional service to the community in the area of childhood <br />Lead Poisoning Prevention. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
