RESOLUTION NO. 6929-94 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Flannery, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Finance Director, Gale W. Fisk, <br />Head Coach of the Bay Village varsity girls soccer team~ on his <br />successful season and numerous awards as the 1993 Girls Soccer <br />Coach of the Year. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, recognition is due our Finance Director, Gale <br />W. Fisk, who just completed his seventh year as Coach of the Bay <br />Village varsity girls soccer team with a 19-1-1 record and 124 <br />points to the oppositions 3, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Coach Fisk's team, a runner-up in Ohio State <br />Regionals was ranked Number' I in the Plain Dealer and State <br />Coaches Poll and Number 2 nationally by USA Today for 1993, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Coach Fisk is the Plain Dealer unanimous choice <br />as Coach of the Year for Ail Metro Girls Soccer, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Coach Fisk is the Southwestern Conference Girls <br />Soccer "Coach of the Year", and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Greater Cleveland Scholastic Soccer Coach <br />Association named him their Girls Soccer "Coach of the Year", and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Coach Fisk is to be commended for his <br />dedication and philosophy to developing all of his players, thus <br />.instilling a true.team spirit and allowing each team member to <br />realize her potential, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, our Finance Director, Gale Fisk's 1993 "Coach <br />of the Year" awards have brought the City of Lakewood recognition <br />and honor as his employer; now therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, .STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Council and the Mayor' for and on <br />behalf of its citizens extend to Finance Director, Gale W. Fisk, <br />praise and congratulations on his successful season and numerous <br />awards as the 1993 Girls.Soccer Coach of the Year. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Resolution to Gale W.
