RESOLUTION NO. 6933-94 BY: Boscia, Flanner¥, George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith RESOLUTION authorizing the.payment of an incentive award in the amount of $500.00 to City of Lakewood employee Donald L. cahill. WHEREAS, pursuant to 149.23 Lakewood Codified Ordinance the Mayor has established an Incentive Awards Program for all employees of the City of Lakewood including foremen, but excluding all other WHEREAS, Donald L. Cahill, Chief Mechanic, Division of · Fire, since June.16, 1982 took the. initiative and contacted C.E.I. and obtained permission to use abandoned ducts to run communication cable for the Division of Fire at a substantial savings, and WHERF~S, the suggestion of Mr. Cahill has resulted in substantial financial'savings to the City of Lakewood which savings will continue into the future, and a monetary award has been reconended by the MayOr and approved following-final review by the Incentive Awards Review Committee; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council, pursuant to I49.23(g) Lakewood Codified Ordinance, hereby approves and authorizes a payment in the amount of $500.00 to City of Lakewood employee Donald L. Cahill through the Incentive Awards Program of the City and. congratulates.him for his significant contribution to the welfare of Section 2. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to pay to Donald L. Cahill the sum of $500.00 and to charge same to the General Fund. Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to .the passage of this Resolution were adopted in an open meeting of th~s Council and that all such deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings held in compliance with all legal requirements.
