RESOLUTION NO~ <br /> <br />PLACED ON "First Reading" & Referred: Housing <br /> Committee on 2/7/94. <br /> Placed on 2nd READING on 2/22/94. <br /> <br />6944-94 BY: <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter into <br />an agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development to accept the FY 1994 Emergency Shelter Grant and with <br />the Cuyahoga County Board of Commissioners to administer the FY <br />1994 Emergency Shelter Grant Program on behalf of the City of <br />Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has received an Emergency <br />Shelter Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development in the amount of $62,000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood and Cuyahoga County have had a <br />positive experience and good working relationship by which the <br />Cuyahoga County Office of Homeless Services retains Lakewood's <br />Emergency Shelter Grant funds and coordinates homeless services; <br />and <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, on behalf of the City of Lakewood, <br />be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an <br />agreement with and to budget all Emergency Shelter Grants received <br />from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and to <br />enter into an agreement with the Cuyahoga County Board of <br />Commissioners to administer all of the City of Lakewood's FY 1994 <br />Emergency Shelter Grant received from the U.S. Department of <br />Housing and Urban Development. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
