RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6950-94 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Flannery, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Se~lie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION congratulating Cox Cable Cleveland Area on <br />earning the coveted Ohio Cable Television Award for "Overall <br />Co~m,itment to the Com.uunity". <br /> <br /> Whereas, in a ceremony held in Columbus, Ohio, March <br />14, 1994, Cox Cable was recognized for its outstanding local <br />progr~muing, including programs on local schools, charitable <br />organizations, city government, and c~m.unit~ events, and <br /> <br /> WheREAS, Cox Cable competed with Ohio cable systems <br />'serving over 50,000 customers, and <br /> <br /> WnRREAS, Cox Cable's "Spotlight" won "Best Government <br />Affairs" program in the state, featuring emergenc~ service <br />personnel in the cities of Lakewood, Parma Heights, and Olmsted <br />Falls, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Cox Cable serves ten c~u-~ties in <br />Cleveland's west side: Broadview Heights, Brooklyn Heights, <br />Fairview Park, Lakewood, Olmsted Falls, 01msted Township, Parma, <br />Parma Heights, Rocky River and Seven Hills; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY ~ CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereb~ <br />extendto Cox Cable Cleveland Area its congratulations ~nd that <br />of all the citizens of the Lakewood Cum.unity for their <br />outstanding.c~mmm~ty service. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
