RESOLUTION NO. 696~-94 <br /> <br />BY: Bos~a, Flannery, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION honoring G. Thomas DuBose, International <br />President of the United Transportation Union. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this year marks the 25th anniversary of the <br />United Transportation Union's location here in the City of <br />Lakewood, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the United Transportation Union employs 117 <br />people dedicated to economic justice as it relates to working <br />people, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the United Transportation Union has enhanced <br />our City since 1969, contributing to the strengths of our entire <br />community; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor extend to G. <br />Thomas DuBose, International President of the United <br />Transportation Union their congratulations and that of all the <br />citizens of this community'for the 25th anniversary of the United <br />Transportation Union's location in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby <br />authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this <br />Resolution to G.
