RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7016-95 BY: Boscia, Flannery, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A KESOLUTION commending Mary Louise Nixon for public service as a member <br />of the Community Development Corporation (CDC) of Lakewood Board of Trustees. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mary Louise Nixon served as a member of the CDC Board of <br />Trustees from May, 1984 until December, 1994, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during her tenure as a member of the CDC Board of Trustees, Mary <br />Louise Nkon demonstrated sincere interest in the preservation and fi~ture development of <br />the City of Lakewood; served actively as a member from 1984 to 1990, as Chairperson <br />fi'om 1990 to !993, and as Vice Chairperson during 1994; and such service contributed <br />substantially to the public interest, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered for our <br />community by Mary Louise Nixon be given public cognizance and recognition; now <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor extend to Mary Louise Nixon <br />their appreciation, and that of all citizens of this community, for her valued and dedicated <br />public service as a member of the Community Development Corporation of Lakewood <br />Board of Trustees, and further, wishes to express that appreciation by this public <br />recognition. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a personal certified copy of this Resolution to Mary Louise N'~xon, <br />1666 Belle, Lakewood, Ohio 44107, and that a copy of tMs Resolution be spread upon the <br />minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
