REFERRED TO COMMITTEE OF WHOLE on 4/3/95. RESOLUTION NO. 7031-95 By: Flannery, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of Finance to enter into a professional services agreement with The Urban. Center, Cleveland State University for charter review services. WHEREAS, pursuant to Article XXI section 10 of the Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood, a Charter Review Commission has been appointed by this Council and the May6r to review and recommend revisions and amendments to the Charter; and WHEREAS, The Urban Center, Cleveland State University has submitted a proposal for services to assist the Commission and facilitate the charter review process; and WHEREAS, such services are expenditure of public funds; and necessary and a proper WHEREAS, an agreement for charter review services may be awarded without competitive bidding pursuant to Section 111.04(a)(g) of the Codified Ordinances; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO Section 1. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed, pursuant to Section 111.04(a)(g), to enter into an agreement with The Urban Center, Cleveland State University for charter review s~rvices, with the cost for such services not to exceed $12,500.000; said agreement to be in a form and to contain such'terms and conditions as deemed necessary by the Director of Law to protect the public interest. Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberation of the Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all ]egal requirements.
