PLACED ON 1st ~eading ~ Referred to <br /> the PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE on 4/3/95. <br />PLACED ON 2nd Reading on 4/17/95. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7053-95 BY: Boscia, Flannery, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of <br />Public Works, on behalf of the City, to enter into certain <br />agreements with the County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County <br />necessary to facilitate the resurfacing and painting of the <br />Detroit Road bridge over the Rocky River~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Detroit Road (US Rt. 6A) bridge no. 66 over the <br />Rocky River is a heavi]y travelled means of ingress to and egress <br />from the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City recognizes a need for improvements to said <br />bridge by the painting and resurfacing of same; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said improvements <br />appropriation of additional City <br />additional City personnel; and <br /> <br />wi]] not require the <br />funds or the hiring of <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is 'in the best interest of the City to enter <br />into an agreement with the County Commissioners of Cuyahoga <br />County to facilitate said improvements; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works, on behalf <br />of the City, is hereby authorized and directed to enter into <br />certain agreements with the County Commissioners of Cuyaho~ <br />County necessary to facilitate the resurfacing and painting Qf <br />the Detroit Road (US Rt. 6A) bridge no. 66 over the Rocky River; <br />said agreement to be in a form and to contain such terms and <br />conditions as deemed necessary by the Director of Law to protect <br />the public interest. ~ <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that ail formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the. passage of <br />this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, <br />and that ail such deliberation of the Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such forma] action were in meetings <br />open to the public in compliance with ail legal requirements. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
