RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7062-95 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Flannery, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Nurse Practitioner Rebecca <br />Kostuk for her dedication and leadership to the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Rebecca Kostuk has shared her time, expertise <br />and leadership on behalf of the qreater Cleveland Chapter of the <br />American Red Cross over the last several years, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Becky has directed the Health and Safety <br />Services Nursinq Subcommittee of the American Red Cross, Greater <br />Cleveland Chapter, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Kostuk oversaw the manaqement of a Grant <br />from the Ohio State University Research Department on hiqh blood <br />pressure in the Asian Community, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, her ability to obtain Job Trainin~ Partnership <br />Act qrant insured the fundinq of education for nursinq students, <br />thus providinq for opportunities otherwise unavailable, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, research on HIV/AIDS education was aided by <br />her involvement, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in spite of these many and varied involvements <br />with the~health community in Lakewood Rebecca Kostuk continued to <br />maintain her usual duties as a public health Nurse; now therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Council and the Mayor for and on <br />behalf of its citizens extend to Nurse Practitioner, Rebecca <br />Kostuk, thanks and praise for her many contributions to our City. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
