RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7075-95 BY: Boscia, Flannery, <br /> George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION extending congratulations to Joseph Cimperman on his <br />selection as one of the recipients of the Sth Annual Greater Cleveland Public Works <br />Performance Awards. <br /> <br /> WHERE,, Mr. Cimperman has been an employee of the Division of <br /> Waste Water Treatment since 1976 and his ability to design, manufacture and repair <br /> equipment has been demonstrated not only in his Division but in every Department <br />~ ,,~...witai~ ..the City; aha <br /> . . T\.~':[i .-. . ~-~ .,[ ,, , , _ <br /> <br /> "~':.:..'..-WHEREAS, Mr. Cimperman presently oversees all of the maintenm3ce, <br /> both defect repairs .and preventive, at the facility; this includes scheduling and <br />v? ?: overseeing.the daily activities of five maintenance personnel; and <br /> <br /> WI-IEREAS, Mr. Cimperman has been responsible for many time, cost and <br />process enhancing projects through the years, which include an air scrubbing system <br />saving the City $60,000, pump station equipment and controls for the Lakewood <br />Animal Shelter, and a liquid sludge loading system for tanker trucks, including <br />controls; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Cimperman has never refused to tackle a challenge that <br />has been put before him, even including non-maintenance problems, such as process <br />control; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKE OOD, STATE OF OHIO:. <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereby extend to Joseph <br />Cimperman its commendation, and that of all of the citizens of the Lakewood <br />community, on his receipt of the prestigious Greater Cleveland Public Works <br />Performance Award in First Line Supervision for 1995. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Joseph Cimperman, Lakewood <br />Public Works Department, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the <br />minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br />
