RESOLUTION NO. 7081-95 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION requesting the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to draw and the <br />Treasurer of Cuyahoga County to pay to the Director of Finance of the <br />City of Lakewood, an advance of taxes collected for the year 1996 in <br />such amounts as may be requested and available. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 321.34 of the Revised Code provides that when local <br />authorities by resolution so request, the County Auditor shall draw <br />and the County Treasurer shall pay on such draft to township clerks, <br />treasurers of municipal corporations, the Clerk of any board of <br />education, and the treasurer of any other political subdivision or <br />taxing district whose funds derived from taxes or other sources are <br />payable by law to the County Treasurer, any money that may be in the <br />County treasury to the accounts of such local authorities; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be requested to draw <br />and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County be requested to pay to the <br />Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, an advance <br />of taxes for the year 1996 in such amount as may be requested of him <br />and which are available. <br /> <br />Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees that resulted in <br />such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance <br />with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Approved: ~)~- ~ ,Iq~ ~ <br /> Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
