RESOLUTION NO. 7107-96 BY: Boscia, Corrigan, Elannery, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A Resolution to commend Patrol Officer Larry R. <br />Kirkwood, Jr. for his meritorious act that resulted in the saving of a life. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 18, 1995, a 9-1-1 call came <br />into the Lakewood Police Department in which a woman stated she <br />believed her husband had expired, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after being dispatched to the scene Patrol <br />Officer Kirkwood contributed his skills and training as an officer with <br />Officers Allen and Walling in performing CPR on the man until <br />paramedics ardved, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Officer Kirkwood's spontaneous action in a <br />stressful situation helped save the life of this man; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor extend to Patrol <br />Officer Larry R. Kirkwood, Jr. its appreciation and that of all of the <br />citizens of this community for his courageous actions. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be, and she is hereby <br />authorized and directed to fonNard a certified copy of this Resolution to <br />Patrol Officer Larry R.
