RESOLUTION NO, 7117~96 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Corrigan, Flannery, <br />George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION extending congratulations to Tonia Kwiatkowski for <br />her outstanding athletic and personal achievements. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Tonia Kwiatkowski, a Lakewood High School Graduate and <br />a member of the Winterhurst Figure Skating Club placed third at the 1993 U.S. Figure <br />Skating Association's National Championships, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in the 1996 U.S. Figure Skating Association's National <br />Championships Tonia captured second in the Senior Ladies and will go on to the World <br />Championships, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, through her exceptional talent and determination, long hours <br />and hard work she has been placed on the World Team of figure skating, bringing honor <br />and recognition not only to the Winterhurst Figure Skating Club and LakewoOd High <br />School but to our entire community; now, therefore, <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Mayor and Council extends to Tonia Kwiatkowski <br />their congratulations and that of all of the citizens of this community for her athletic <br />achievements in figure skating and her second place finish at the 1996 U.S. Figure Skating <br />Association's National Championships. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
