REFERRED TO SAFETY & TRAFFIC COMMITTEE on 2/5/96. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7119-96 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Corrigan, <br />Flannery, George, Roth, Seelie, <br />Smith <br /> <br /> AN RESOLUTION withdrawing the objection of Council to the <br />transfer of ownership of C1, C2 and D6 liquor permits from 13000 <br />Madison Avenue, Inc. to Madison Beverage, Inc. d/b/a/ Madison Bever- <br />age for an establishment located at 13000 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, <br />Ohio and repealing Resolution No. 7077-95 adopted September 18, 1995. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 7077-95 adopted September <br />18, 1995, this Council objected to the transfer of ownership of Cl, <br />C2 and D6 liquor permits from 13000 Madison Avenue, Inc. to Madison <br />Beverage, Inc. d/b/a Madison Beverage for an establishment located at <br />13000 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said permit holders have indicated a willingness <br />to cooperate in enforcing the liquor laws and there an agreement to <br />that effect has been entered into, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, under these circumstances and in consideration <br />thereof, this Council deems it appropriate to withdraw the objection <br />to the transfer of ownership of C1, C2 and D6 liquor permits from <br />13000 Madison Avenue, Inc. to Madison Beverage, Inc. d/b/a Madison <br />Beverage for an establishment located at 13000 Madison Avenue, Lake- <br />wood, Ohio; and <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That in consideration of the agreement of the <br />permit holders, this Council authorizes and directs the Director of <br />Law to withdraw Council's objection to the transfer of ownership of <br />Cl, C2 and D6 liquor permits from 13000 Madison Avenue, Inc. to <br />Madison Beverage, Inc. d/b/a Madison Beverage for an. establishment <br />located at 13000 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That Resolution No. 7077-95 adopted September <br />18, 1995, shall be and the same is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of <br />this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and <br />that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its commit- <br />tees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to <br />the public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Adopted:. <br /> <br />Approved: ~ /~! <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />CLERK ' <br /> <br /> <br />
