REFERRED TO FINANCE COMMITTEE ON 3/18/96. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7139-96 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Corrigan, FlannerT, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the DireCtOr of Finance tO selI, <br />through public auctions, various obsolete, surplus and non-funCtioning City <br />vehicles and/or equipment. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to sell this obsolete, surplus - <br />and non-functioning equipment to make better use of the space it occupies and to <br />realize a profit from the sale, now therefore: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and she is hereby authorized <br />and directed to sell, through public auctions, held in the spring and in the fall, <br />various obsolete, surplus and non-functioning City vehicles, materials and/Or <br />equipment after advertising according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any <br />of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the <br />public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> President <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
