RESOLUTION NO: 7158-96 BY: Bo$cia, Corrigan, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Lakewood <br />Hometown Band to provide professional services for two Sunday Band Concerts. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood presents Sunday evening concerts in the bandsheil <br />at Lakewood Park; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received a proposal for two concerts ,rom the Lakewood <br />Hometown Band; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the approval of City Council is required for professional service contracts <br />in excess of $5,000.00. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the <br />Lakewood Hometown Band in an amount not to exceed $7,100.00. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of <br />this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that <br />resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all <br />legal requirements. <br /> <br />Adopted: (~gOOU" /~/ /~ <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
