RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7166-96 BY: Boscia, Corrigan, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION submitting Ordinance No. 8-96 to a vote of the electors. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lakewood City Council adopted Ordinance No. 8-96, fixing the salaries <br />of the members of the Council of the City of Lakewood commencing January 1, 1998, for <br />Council members elected At large and commencing January 1, 2000, for Council members <br />elected for each Ward, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Clerk of Council has certified to Council that a Referendum Petition <br />was presented containing sufficient valid signatures, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 8-96 not being entirely repealed, be submitted to a vote <br />of the electors, now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. This Council hereby resolves that Ordinance No. 8-96 be submitted to <br />a vote of the electors at the general election to be held on November 5, 1996. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The Director of Law is hereby directed to forward this Resolution to the <br />Cuyahoga County Board of Elections within the time prescribed by law and take all <br />necessary action relative to said referendum. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and ,relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of <br />Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and, any qf its committees that <br />resulted in such formal action, were in meeting open to the public, in compliance with all <br />legal, requirements. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved~~ <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
