RESOLUTION NO. 7205-96 BY Boscia, Corrigan, Flannery, Geoge, Roth, Seelie, Smith A RESOLUTION to commend Michael P. Summers for his public service during his tenure on the Lakewood Planning Commission; WHEREAS, this Council appointed Mr. Summers on January 18, 1994 to complete an unexpired term ending December 3 l, 1996; WHEREAS, in 1995, Mr. Summers served as Vice Chairman of the Planning Commission; WHEREAS, during his tenure on the Lakewood Planning Commission, Mr. Summers contributed a vast amount of knowledge and experience during the Zoning Code update; WHEREAS, in November of 1995, Mr. Summers was elected to the Lakewood School Board when he had planned on resigning from the Planning Commission; WHEREAS, Mr. Summers willingly remained on the Planning Commission during 1996 to continue to offer his valuable assistance and complete his full participation in the adoption of the Zoning Code which took place on October 7, 1996; and WHEREAS, it is most appropriate that the dedication of Michael P. Summers to this Community's preservation, Well-being and future development be given public cognizance and recognition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor, on behalf of the residents of the City of Lakewood, extend to Michael P. Summers their commendation and sincere appreciation fbr his service on the Lakewood Planning Commission. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Michael P. Summers, 1046 Wilbert Avenue, Lakewood, OH 44107, and that a copy of this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. Adopted: ~,ff3~t-/5/~ PRESIDENT CLERK
