RESOLUTION NO. 77-25-97 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Corrigan, Flannery, <br />George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A Resolution to commend Nancy Roth on receiving the Dean's Distinguished <br />Alumni Award from the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs, Cleveland State <br />University. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Dean's Distinguished Alumni AWard was first given'in <br />1987 and has since been given annually to that person who has excelled in his or her career <br />and has demonstrated dedication to community service, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Nancy Roth has contributed to her community over the years as <br />in her present position as Executive Director of Health Systems Agency of North Central <br />Ohio and earlier as Associate Director, she was an associate with Metropolitan Health <br />Planning Corporation, and an associate with Metropolitan Health Planning Corporation, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, she received her MS in Urban Studies from Levin College in <br />1975 while working as the Assistant Commissioner for Cleveland's Department of Public <br />Henlth and Welfare, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Nancy serves on the boards of Huntington's Disease Society of <br />America, Northeast Chapter and Cuyahogu County's Child and Family Health Services, is a <br />member of the Cuyahoga Women's Political Caucus and the League of Women Voters, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, .it is only fitting and proper that Nancy Roth's years of <br />dedication and service to the community be given public cognizance and recognition; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor hereby extend commendation, and <br />that of all the citizem of the Lakewood community, to Nancy Roth on her receipt of the <br />prestigious Dean's Distinguished Alumni Award. <br /> <br /> SectiOn 2.
