RESOLUTION NO. 7236-97 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Corrigan, Flannery, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to honor the St. Edward Eagles Wrestling Team, <br />winning its 13th Division I state title, clinching the State Crown. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, special commendation and recognition is due to all members <br />of the St. Edward Wrestling Team and Coach Greg Urbas and his staff for an outstanding <br />performance at this year's 60th State Wrestling Tournament, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lakewood City Council wishes to extend its expression of <br />pride in the accomplishments of this wrestling teton, as well as our appreciation for the <br />recognition they have brought to our community by hheir sportsmanship and inspired <br />wrestling abilities, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council is awed by the dedication and commitment which <br />the wrestlers, coaches and staff have demonstrated in order to accomplish this enviable <br />feat, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by their outstanding accomplishments, the St. Edward High <br />School Eagles Wrestling Team has brought due recognition and honor, not only to <br />themselves, but to the entire Lakewood community; now, therefore, <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br /> Section 1. On behalf of the residents of Lakewood, the Lakewood City <br />Council extends to the St. Edward High School Eagles Wrestling Team congratulations <br />for its outstanding athletic achievements during the 1996-97 high School wrestling season. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be, and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the St. Edward High School <br />Eagles Wrestling Team, c/o Coach Greg Urbas, St. Edward High School, and that a copy <br />of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved' <br /> <br />PRESIDENT ~-' -- <br /> <br />CLERK - <br /> <br /> <br />
