RESOLUTION NO. 7286-98 BY: <br /> <br />Corrigan, Flannery, George, Roth, <br />Seelie, Skindell, Smith <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION to welcome you as a new resident of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Lakewood is happy that you have chosen to live <br />here and is pleased to serve as your representatives in local govemment, and <br /> WHEREAS, on July 21, 1986, it came before the Council of the City of Lakewood that <br />giving new residents information regarding some basic laws and polities concerning their new <br />community may convey to them that the City is interested in assisting them; making them feet <br />"at home" more quickly, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the vadous city codes help to assure the community pdde, by which the <br />history of the city is distinguished, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the comfortable living here may continue through knowledge of basic laws <br />and policies such as parking and refuse regulations, recycling guidelines, pet information and <br />community development programs, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council wishes to warmly welcome you as a new resident of this <br />community; now, therefore; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That this Council, for itself and on behalf of all of the citizens of this <br /> community, warmly welcomes you as a new resident of City of Lakewood and wishes you much <br /> happiness, gratification and success in your new surroundings. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
