RESOLUTION NO. 7287-98 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan, Flannery, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION congratulating Jules W. Bouthiilet upon his retirement <br />after a distinguished career of dedicated service as President & Chief Executive Officer <br />of Lakewood Hospital. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jules Bouthillet was named President & C.E.O. of Lakewood <br />Hospital in September, 1984, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, his outstanding management skills contributed to making <br />Lakewood Hospital one of Lakewood's most cherished community assets; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, under Mr. Bouthillet's leadership Lakewood Hospital <br />attracted the best health care providers and staff from across the country and around <br />the world, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr.~ Bouthiilet's played instrumental roles in Lakewood <br />Hospital's battle with Blue Cross, smooth governance transitions and vital hospital <br />mergers, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, his service also encompasses active involvement in the <br />Greater Cleveland Y.M.C.A, Lakewood Hospital Foundation, Lakewood/Rocky River <br />Rotary International and several professional health care organizations, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Bouthillet has been a key link in the network of city-wide <br />contribution and care to many sectors of our community; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE It RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, for and on behalf of ;the citizens <br />of Lakewood, hereby congratulate Jules W..Bouthiilet, upon his retirement from his <br />distinguished career as President & Chief Executive Officer of Lakewood Hospital. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Jules W. Bouthiilet, and that a <br />copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br /> <br />
